Default B18C1, what year did it come from??

I picked up a B18C1 from an official police impound lot (part of a bust of a chop shop). It was not in a car at the time.

The tag on the block says B18C1 and has the ID number of 2306109.

Could anybody tell me what year Integra it came out of and how an individual breaks down the ID number to show it's vintage.

Check the numbers on the head, above the exhaust manifold.

That is a 2nd generation GSR motor. GSR motors started in 1994, so that would be the 1st generation GSR motor, so 2nd generation would be a 1995 and so on. Now how to find out the generation. Your block reads 2306109, you take the first number, that is the generation of the block. Your is "2" so it would be a 2nd generation B18c1 and that would make it a 1995.

I hope that I explained it good enough!

That's a little bit lower than my serial number. My car was made in December '94 ('95 model year), so it might be a late '94 or early '95.

OK, that helps!

On the head the number 41115078 is printed on it (stamped in black ink) Also the number P72-1 is cast into the head. What all does this mean.

Thanks!!

That mean it is a P72 head. P72 is a GSR.
