are any of you guys with b18c's and a p28 ecu running your stock intake manifold without the butterflies that control the secondary runners. i've heard of a couple of guys now doing this and getting good results. just wondering if any problems could come up by doing this?

 

It's do-able but it won't make top power vs. skunk2/victorX manifold or with the runners engaged.

My company will be selling electronics specifically to control the secondary runners on b18c1's for when people use p28's or for dyno tuning (i.e. moving the open or close point around to smooth the power band)
