B18A1 water pump on D16Y7 engine?

B18A1 water pump on D16Y7 engine?
Would that fit? I've read that it will fit. But the D series is a VTEC model. B18A1 water pump has 19 parts to the gear. I can't find how many parts are on the D series. Or if it would just work. Anyone please? thanks!
