I have a B18A with missing main caps and missing Rod caps and a spun bearing that scored the crank.. Do I have any options to ever get this motor running correctly? I was thinking that the machine work to align hone everything on top of buying the missing pieces would end up being more than just finding another B18A..
Thanks for any suggestions.

well b18a's are a dime a dozen really. I'm sure you can buy some main/rod caps and have a machine shop make sure they will be perfectly fine, and get the clearances for bearings set.
it would be better to get another b18a that doesn't have the crank journals scored and has all the pieces, will be a less of a cost and pain in the *** in the end

Like he said, just find another engine.I've bought several over the years for $150 ish.
