Default b18 oil problem

i have a 95 civic hatch with a b18a1 swap and there are no visible oil leaks anywhere on the motor. ive been driving it everyday and getting on it every now and then and it seems like every time i check the oil its getting lower. the car doesnt smoke whatsoever and before i start tearing apart the engine, i wanna ask a few questions. do b18s just eat oil? or could this be an internal leak? thanx in advance all advice greatly appreciated. Allen.

any motor can eat oil depending on its condition and how you treat it. if you don't see any signs of oil, not even smoke, it doesnt mean that its not burning. if you have a cat and just let it idle, it wont really be noticeable.
