anyone know how these cams compare to b16 or b18c's? i have gay b16a first gen jdm cams and they suck, are b17's any better? maybe se 1 or 2 hp diff?

 

dun reallie know if cams r any diffrent or if they are the same, but the b17 head is pretty much a b16 head.

 

yea but ITR has same casting to. but the b17 is 10hp where the jdm b16a is 160ps like 152 or so hp. but im wondering if the b17 gets the extra hp from being 1.7. i just want a better set of cams i can get some b17's right now for free and 50$ for some gsr's

From what i understand, its the same valvetrain as a B16, with just a 4mm longer stroke, yeilding the extra 6 ft/lb of torque, and the extra 8 hp. Thats as i see it though. Maybe give honda a call and ask a reputable tech, or your favorite speed shop might not know.
