I've seen a stock RSX Type S dynoed and it made around 170 at the wheels on a dynojet also.
Looks like it actually made more power here on Importbuilders dyno, which is a dynojet I believe.

With an injen intake. I dunno if you're familiar with the rsx, but intakes add around 10+whp for those puppies.

I may be wrong and i'm willing to accept that. But shawn told me himself that dynojet readings would be lower than dynapack. Nevertheless, impressive numbers for the b16b even if it were in the mid 170s. It'd still be impressive for that 1.6 liter.

no.[/QUOTE

Instead of just saying no, how about backing up your answer with an explanation?

you guys do realize that this is a B16B

It is very different from a B16A. It is actually a B18C block that has been destroked to 1.6l and if I am not mistaken, makes 180 crank HP stock in the CTR that it comes in.

Some one needs to do a before and after with this header to see how much its really making. TONS of ppl want to know, does it make power or not, if so how much and where.

Everyone needs to read the new article i believe in the new turbo mag or sportcompact car it has a comparison of dyno's as long as the use same dyno to compare numbers baseline and w/ the upgrade than there would be a ligit increase but just posting one dyno figure doesnt give everyone the full idea of what power potential of the product.

Wouldn't it be logical to think that the car would make MORE hp with the wheels off the car? </TD></TR></TABLE>

Yes.

The only thing we know is that his B16B motor made 184.1 whp and 123.9 lbs ft torque.</TD></TR></TABLE>

its a dynapack, = more power/tq than a Dynojet.

I saw a stock B16b with a JG header and stock GSR ecu on a Dynojet = 164/105. No tuning

Yeah i was about to say that too...it also has a higher compression! And CTR cams (considering that its a CTR motor! )!

One question, which header would produce better results the standard or compact? check http://www.an-r.com/headers/b-series.html to see them. I think the compact one would look sweet.
