Default b16a OEM clutch...Setup turbo

I build a setup turbo for my b16a first generation.


My objectif is aprox 240-260 WHP.

But the OEM clutch can ride How much power?

not 240whp that's for sure. Get a new clutch or enjoy the smell of burning the stock one up.

I ran a stock clutch in my ls turbo with around 250 whp. Had a lot of slipping. I upgraded my clutch shortly after. I would recommend upgrading your clutch.

personally i have never used the oem style street disc clutches, i dont know what they can support. when i upgraded my clutch i used just a ACT 6 puck sprung disc clutch which i liked with my 250 whp setup.

If you want to retain stock-like drivability while increasing the holding power of your clutch, get something with a kevlar disc. Otherwise, 6-puck clutches are perfectly streetable with the right pressure plate once you get used to them.
