I have been thinking about pulling my b16 out and rebuilding it as well as the transmission. I want something reliable for now til i can start saving money for a turbo setup in the future. As far as the tranny i just want something that can last me for some time without problems. I read that if i put an LS 5th gear in my tranny it would help with it not being in such a high rpm on higher speeds. I have a b16 tranny which i believe is lsd. If anybody has ideas on how much it would cost to do this that would be much help.
All suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

 

Ask this question in the trans forum but yes its easy and cheap if you have a parts ls trans.
