hey sup, im dropping in a lsvtec motor in my teg soon i might get a 91 b16 hydro tranny. my question is r all genaration b16 hydro tranny da same? r da gear ratio same or different? let me know if its a good or bad tranny 2 slap on my b18b1 block, 1st gen b16 head... i would appreciate any advice or info, thanx 4 ur time

 

what car are your running???? the 91 b16 tranny is a cable tranny. i always thought that they had a 4.40 final drive but ive heard some people say that some come with a 4.26 final drive. from what i know... they all got the same gear rations. check out this site http://ff-squad.com/Bgears.htm

 

i have a 94 teg, dis guy said he had a 91 b16 hydro tranny... i thought older gen b16 tranny only come in cable... can u shed some light on dis

 

its bs. look at the site a gave you . hydro b16s only first came out in 92 hatchbacks... actually, if it came out of a 92 hacth, then the motor was made in 91.... ****.... check into that...
