i need to know if the stock jdm b16 exuast manifold if it's a little smaller then the type R....i've already searched didn't find anything about size.
i got a usdm type r header, just seeing if i should change only the downpipe instead of changing the whole thing if it's the same size.

the b16 manifold is shorter than a gsr and type r
if you try to put a b16 man on a b18c it will hit the oil pan
b16 have a shorter deck height
b18c motors have a deeper oil pan because of the 3 main gurtle also

You can use a type r header on a b16......... just not the other way around

 

i knoe the b16 exaust manifold is short...but it fits on my gsr but very very tight fit...
i just need to know if the diameter size of the type R is bigger then the b16 header
