Axle coming loose????
I swapped a B18C-r into a 00 Civic SI using the SI's axels. Occationally the passenger side axle pulls out of the transmission by an inch or so resulting in a small trans leak (which is how I discovered it) The first time I thought it was a fluke and just pushed it back in...now it's happened twice (in ~500miles). I never had this problem when the B16a2 was in with the same axles. What am I missing?

The cv joint should be right up against the tranny seal. I've had the same prob. Make sure you don't drive without the tranny oil should it pop out again. You'll burn up those bearings.
Once I push them in they seem to be pretty firm. I think they're only popping out after some hard driving (the first time I noticed shortly after a 1/4mi track day and the other was after a big burnout leaving a car show!!)
