Default auto to gsr tranny what needs to be done?

hey i have a 94 4door and i wanted to swap my tranny over to a 5speed gsr tranny since the motor has 180,000 miles on it, can it be done if so what will i need, and will i have to mod. my ecu for the swap?

I had Mine switched over to a GSR 5spd just last week...You'll need to get axles for a 5spd the shift arm (between the tranny and the shifter) tranny bolts and tranny mounts aren't the same in auto and 5spd make sur the tranny has the bolts for the flywheel (ones in the auto wont work) and ECU along with the obvious pedals, and shifter, boot and you don't REALLY NEED a new manual cluster but it's best to swap for the right one
Your better off just buying the whole front clip off a 5spd that way you have everything all in one...I spent almost $5000 getting parts separately
