Will B16 ARP rod bolts work on LS rods?
The reason I ask is because B16 bolts are 8mm, and B18 are 9mm

The B series bolts are all 11mm and D series are 10mm and Prelude/Accord are 12mm. If you are going to use ARP's make sure you use the Bseries and for LS/VTEC you have to GSR bolts or studs.

 

Two avaible ARP rod bolt sets for Honda B series:

ARP-208-6001 Honda 1.2L-1.6L 8mm
ARP-208-6401 Acura 1.8L 9mm

My question is will the 8mm holp up on LS rods...

 

From what I have heard...the 9mm Honda one is too big and youre actually supposed to use the 8mm ones even though it says 1.2L-1.6L

 

whoe! I messed up!! I thought you were talking about the head bolts?!

 

For b18a rods the 8mm ones are what you need. That's what I used. On the b18b's I've heard you use the 9mm ones but I'm not sure on that since I've never built a b18b bottom end. Can someone confirm or deny this?

 

you will need the 8mm ARP rod bolts for the B18B rods.........i'm using them in my car right now..........
