Apexi Neo - Code 22 Solved.
I don't know if this is an on going issue. I read a few similar problems, a lot of folks had loose wiring, connections, and ecu troubles. This was the fix for my scenario. I had got my car tuned using the Neo, and there were no issues on the dyno, except for the map code when adding fuel which is normal. So we de-tuned my car back to the "safe zone." On my Drive home I had just began playing around when I got that cel.
I was still able to engage vtec, and the car felt fine. Sat. on my way home from the UFC fight under load @ WOT I got the almighty fuel cut @ 6500rpm. Upset I came home and began Diag. I fixed a potentially leaking base gasket. Changed the psi switch. Also re-checked my wiring and all connections.
Last night I figured out that the non-needed VTM wire is needed after all. Armed w/ my Apexi manual & Diagram, along w/ the FF-squad pin out, I wired up the VTM signal ( for OBD2a This is Located on Connector C, Pin 15, wire color Blue / Blk and goes to the NEO Light green ). Before I hacked away, I called apexi and verified.
When I finished, I started my car and let it warm up 10-15min through a fan cycle allowing the idle time to re-adjust. I turned the car off afterward, and restarted it. Then I drove around for a while - NO CODES!

YOUR VEHICLE SPECIFIC PINOUT WILL HAVE A SIMILAR DIAGRAM NEXT TO IT IN THE APEXI MANUAL SHOWING A LOACTION LABELED VTM - USE IT TO WIRE UP VTM, BE SURE TO WIRE IT TO ECU INPUT, THE OUTPUT SIDE IS NOT CONNECTED.
