Anything i can do my D16a6
I was wondering and i've been reading that you can make a non vtec sohc fast like a D16a6 can you give me all the suggestions on how to make it quicker and under 15 seconds. thx for your help!
boost is the only way to go. search homemadeturbo.com for somesetups. u could also swap in a sohc vtec head i hear. goodluck!!! and remember to use the "SEARCH" BUTTON!!!

There are plenty of options for the A6. You don't need turbo/nitrous to hit 14's.
Toss in some PM7 domed pistons, and use a Y8 headgasket. That will make your compression to a little above 11:1. After that, toss in a Crane cam and you've got yourself a little monster.
Combine all of that with a Y8 intake manifold, 421 header, intake and exhaust and you're set!

edelbrock's turbo kit supposedly makes 170hp and 140tq which would prolly be good for 14s depending what car its in, but i would consider going b series... get a b20 or LS for like $800 bucks with like 402s and go just as fast for cheaper, and you will have a premis to go from in the future... d16's will only get you so far...

Bro D16's will get you pretty damn far. If he wants more than say 400 HP he may want to get a B series due to more displacement. Don't underestimate the Dzzzzzzzzzzz! If you looking for less than 300-400HP and want FI I would keep the D and use the swap money to get some sick turbo components.
