Anyone here with personal experience using the DigiDizzy setup?
Came across the idea of swapping out the old tech distributor with something new and am just curious about it.. Since the kit is not that cheap, just trying to get some insight with people's experience.
From what I've seen in video's, other site's info, all seems well.
What's the longevity of the unit - promising/failing/issues, I would like to know a bit more from the honda tech heads here!

I updated to Burton Racing COP kit a while back. Works great and have no issues. Using Denso J series coil packs, VMS distributor cover and BKRE7 NGK plugs.
way cheaper than DigiDizzy and does the same thing. Just make sure the soldering connection of the ECU board are good or you’ll have issues.

Thanks for the info but my main concerns are getting away from using a distributor and how high the coils sit because I have already lowered my engine using 1/4" plate spacers in between my engine mounts.
My engine is a b18c1/b16 head in a crx with the hoods under side skeleton cutout to clear the valve cover and have little to no room for going any higher than the valve cover mounting castle nuts.. What I have is a dreaded oil leak from the seal inside the distributor. I once replaced it, lasted 2 weeks. Pulled it apart to find a poorly machined surface on the shaft that just ate the seal.
I used a backup distributor which started to leak as well after 2 years. Both of which were Cardone units..
Trying to find a good quality distributor is somewhat difficult that will actually last.
I'm curious to know how high do the coils sit above the valve cover surface on a vtec head?
