One day out of the blue my car started bogging around 6,000 and up RPM.....
The problem was intermitent the first week...., but then wouldnt stop.
i messed around with fuel, timing, and my throtle position sensor, and couldnt figure out wut was wrong, then yesterday i pulled out the little pill in the MSD 6AL and it doesnt do it anymore?? the ignition box does sound a little louder than normal with it out, but the car runs better??

the rpm modules are just resistors. they get out of spec if their low tolerence, and also with temp. on cold mornings my rev limit is about 500 rpms sooner with mine. you can buy a variable resistor and wire up in the place of the module, and have an adjustable limit. msd makes a piece like this for about $70, but you can make your on way cheaper. you can call msd's tech line and they can tell you what the resistance should be and you can check it with a meter.
