i got a d16z6...i plan on making some serious turbo power...right now, i'm doing okay, i've got i/h/e, and a lot of suspension work...

i plan to bore the cylinders .020, forged pistons, probably a 8.5:1 CR, not sure what rods yet, the greddy turbo kit, an intercooler, HKS SSBOV, probably a Skunk2 valvetrain, and some more little goodies here and there...i think that will be able to run some decent power...i can't put a number to it, but i think with the smaller cost of the parts, it's worth it...plus, not many people, as you probably have noticed, aren't building d16's. i'm doing it, though... i own a shop, so if you need somewhere to get your parts, i'm your girl.

good luck!

i had a z6 but now running a built Y8. They have plenty of potential, just depends what you wanna do. They make great boost motors when built to handle 12-20 lbs.

my brother is Putin some serious power down in his 94 eg hatch w/ a d16z6, full greddy kit and front mount, aem feul rail, fuel filter, cam gear, holley hi-flow in line fuel pump, srp fuel pressure regulator, msd ignition, hondata s200 with 3 bar map, was pushin 194 WHP and 201 TORQUE at 10 PSI. went back to the dyno to do some more fine tuning and started down at 7PSI and was working up from there. his final run of the night ended up with 181 to the wheels and not sure about the torque. they also held the waist gate open to see what the motor was Putin out with out the snail adn it put down 135 to the wheels and like 124 torque or something like that. I swear he has a freak z6 but i could be wrong.
