Default AEM Intake vs. Knock Off (Ebay)

Does it really make a difference what intake you get. Are there significant gains in the AEM over the knock off ones. The ebay ones are pretty tempting considering the prices they sell them at. This question includes Short Ram and Cold air.

as long as they are the same diameter, there is going to be no noticable difference.

Go with the ebay one, but make sure to use a quality air filter. The one they ship with the kit is usually so/so.
