Adjusting clutch cable?
I posted this in the CRX/Civic forum already, but not getting much input... is there anyway to adjust the clutch cable, or do I have to buy a new one? I did get a new one, but really I'm in debt so far right now, I can't justify wasting $40 unless it's for food
all you have to do is look at where it attaches to the tranny. there is a little black plastic thing that you screw in or out. it looks sorta like a big plastic throttle adjuster. how do you post pics? i'll show you.
i found it, are there any tricks / tools to get it tight? I can only get it so tight by hand... Pliers aren't working at all
I even tried installed a new one (non-oem), also no luck here
ok so I just found a way to get it a lot tighter by hand, but my gears still aren't switching for ****... it seems to work the first time, then once I release the clutch and then press it back down and try again - it wont go in gear... any ideas?

ok wow, this thing is really pissing me off- it's very tight, but for some reason it's still shitty shifting, grinding on occasion and feels like it isn't engaging fully... please help! I want to fix this thing and just toss it on autotrader
