hey guys, sorry i dont own a honda/acura , but since my friends have had good help from this site i thought id ask this. I dont know if you guys have seen this but in Apexi's 2000 catalog theres a adjustable butterfly that goes on your exhaust. It suppsed to quieten your exhaust and raise backpreasure. I dont know of a place to get it since its only offered in the japanese catalog. Ive just recently seen aerospeed with the same type of product. If anyone knows what im talking about can you please give me some feedback on this. Pros & cons and where i might be able to get one. Thanks alot for your help!

Waste of $$ IMHO

 

i dont get how its a waste of money. It can be more of an aid in reducing exhaust noise on the street , and when you want your exhaust to be usefull on track , all you have to do is push a button. How is that a waste of money? It beats getting a exhaust ticket from a cop IMO.

I know of some race cars that use this idea to beat the dB meter at the track during qualifing, then flip the plates for the races.

pick up the latest issue of Turdo and High Tech. or SCC. It's in there somewhere. Probably won't do much for exhaust flow.
