act pressure plate devloping surface rust from sitting while project gets underway what to do?
ok so i took a look at my act xtreme pressure plate today and it is devloping surface rust on the clutch forks mainly on the underside of the fingers , but there isnjt any rust on the clutch disc surface where the disc sits, its fine.... is any of this rust going to effect anything or should i have it sandblasted? need to know cos my project is coming underway quick

I am not positive on this, but it should not be a problem, they are going to get more messy when the friction material from the clutch starts sticking to it. As long as the rust is only surface it shouldn't be a problem.

a little bit of surface rust is no big deal. take a rag and some wd40 to remove it and prevent more from starting.
