Default Aasco 8.5lb flywheel on B16

im trying to decide if i want to pick up a used aasco 8.5lb flywheel off my local buddy. Ive got a B16 ej coupe. I/H/E/ignition/injectors.... right now i have a shaved stock flywheel. Im planning on buying an ACT 6 puck clutch soon to replace the 6 puck that is going dead right now.

Should i mate this flywheel with this clutch?

Before you make a decision, consider the ups and the downs of getting the 8.5 lb flywheel. Your car will rev a bit faster but revs will also die faster. The flywheel saves you weight but will also require stronger clutch pressure to prevent slippage which results in greatly increased pedal effort. If the car is a street car, personally I wouldn't get anything less than 11 or 12 lbs. Consider your goals and your options, and then make an educated decision.
