Default 99si Skunk2 manifold

my freind and i have bought one recently i we would like to install it ourselves. I am reltivly mechanically inclined, ive installed a couple suspensions and other stuff, but very little motor work. How difficult is it to install? time required? and what exactly is invoked by installing it, what do we need to do, simple swap? howto? thanks alot

very considering it was made for the b18c1 head. ITR intake mani will bolt up to the b16 head.
what do we need to do
a GSR head.

On Skunk2 website they do have a listing for the 99-00 Si. I was thinking of purchasing the same manifold. If it is then the work should be minimal, probably 3-4 hours max.

If their website is correct then it should be a bolt in affair. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd hate to invest in something that won't fit.

skunk2 makes a im for a b16a/b18c5 and a different one for a b18c1. so as long as you have the right one it will bolt up pretty easy.

we got the one for the 99si, the right one, its just as simple as unbolting the old one and all connecting sensors and bolting this one up? any complications to be foreseen?

Just make sure you drain your coolant first. You don't have to drain it all, just about halfway. Personally, I would just drain it all and flush the coolant system while you're at it, and then it's just nuts and bolts and sensors. Make sure you get all of the old gasket off before the new one goes on.
