Default 97 Civic Wheel Noise

My step sister has a 97 Civic EX. This last thurs, she started noticing a noise from the rear wheels. It is a slight humm that can be heard while going straight but is louder when swerving right. I checked the wheel bearings but were very smooth and did not feel bad at all. I can' think of anything else that may be causing it. All the tires have proper air pressure etc... Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me. How did you check it?

I have heard that you can also check it by "shaking" the wheel side ro side to see if there is any play. Are you pretty sure it's the back?
