Hey everyone, new to the forum and I am having some issues with my accord. It started a few months back, there was a minor flood in my area and the water went up to about the middle of the tires. When I left the affected area I got a mile or so down the road and the engine cut off. I waited five minutes and it fired back up but cut out on me a few more times before I finally got home. I figured something got wet and needed to dry out. Now here we are and it won't start at all. I looked underneath to see if something was fouled up, like a sensor or something, but I did not find anything. I checked the air filter, distributor, and replaced the spark plugs. All were fine except the plugs which needed replaced but when I pulled them out there was oil in the plug cavities. My dad told me that a gasket may have failed but it shouldn't affect it starting. What thoughts do you guys have on what is actually wrong with the car. When I try to start it, you can tell it wants to turn over but ultimately it doesn't. I'm pretty sure its not my battery or charging system, maybe fuel filter or pump, or its possible the fuel air mix isn't firing because f the oil in the spark plug cavities.

UPDATE: I didn't find any water damage to the engine from that flood. I've checked the distributor and it was fine, I have spark and I have fuel but the car is still stalling sporadically and will not start for random amounts of time. I'm wondering if this could be my fuel pump going out, but I'm not really sure. Any thoughts on the cause of this?
