94 Honda Accord Speedometer

I have a 94 Honda Accord LX 2.2 non-Vtech auto trans -- my speedometer works intermittently; I have changed the VSS and checked wires for any breaks. Are these speedometers known for this and what could it be?

check both of the connectors for corrosion and use something to scrape it away if there is...if there was corrosion, apply dielectric grease to the connectors afterwards
