What size alternator would you suggest I use to run a 600 watt amp with a 12in Memphis dual voice coil 500 watt sub? It dims my lights out when I turn the bass up. I know Hondas ain't made for systems. Do to the alternator. So wat does anyone suggest

Unless you upgrade the alternator to a High Output alternator, you are stuck at about 70 amps IIRC. I believe if you get an HO alternator, you have to mess with the ELD and some other electrical garbage (someone correct me if I am wrong?) so you don't blow fuses or ruin anything.

I would simply say run less power, better components. More power doesnt automatically equal better/harder hitting subs if you have crappy components. I'm running an OEM alternator, and if I remember right on the 70 amp alternator you have about 20 amps of spare power the car doesn't use/run on iirc. I currently am only running two Kicker competition 10" subs (150 rms watts @ 4ohms each) at 170 watts a channel @ 4 ohms on a Kenwood KAC-7205 2 channel amp, and my system hits hard. 75% volume it is a back massage of double bass and starts getting hard to breathe, max volume, with bass all the way up, I can rattle my house windows when I am in the driveway. I have never killed a battery with this set up or even had light dimming issues even with the system atfull blast, heater on full blast, and my morimoto retrofit with high beams on.

Nope. No messing with the ELD. Been running my 165 amp for close to 6 years now.
