the plug next to the resister box, not the resister box plug, on the harness from the motor has an 8 pin connector and the one on the body has a 6 pin connector. what do i do with the other two wires? the color of the wires that would not be used are dark blue and black with a yellow stripe

What harness are you using? what modle crx do you have ? and what about the hybrid forum?

 

Your doing the conversion wrong...I can tell you already.

 

no im not doing this weong, the 88 has a different plug. 88 was the bastard year that had very weird differences and this plug happens to be one of them. i pulled the motor out of a 90 hatch and it was fine in there

 

the two wires are for the FITV...you dont need to run them if your trying to make it simple
