Hey guys,

Okay so these are the symptoms my baby (car) is experiencing are...

-Check engine light came on this morning
-4th gear light started blinking on the dashboard
(So drove home using 3rd)
-when using 3rd gear car starts to rev up but I don't move and the suddenly it springs forward.
-was driving about 30-40 and was handling like normal just takes a little longer to speed up further on the freeway

Couple days ago car completely died on me and mechanic didn't really tell me what was wrong.

What do you guys think? Tranny? Maybe alternator?
