Default 200,000 Mile mark

I bought a 2003 Accord V6 EX just about a year ago with 184,000. I'm just about to 200,000 now and I was wondering what should I be doing for preventative maintenance. I have all the car's maintenance records; it got a timing belt / water pump done at about 100,000.

So I have about $1,000 to work with; I'm thinking about doing the timing belt water pump kit again, I've also got all new EBC brake pads and two new EBC rotors for the front that I'm going to be installing soon. What else is important right now? Spark plugs? Tranny fluid? Suspension?

Also where is a good place to get the timing belt water pump kit?

What are you guys using for engine oil? Do I really need to use the Honda Genuine? Just to play it safe I've been using Honda Genuine in combination with the Lucas Oil Stabilizer. I also use the Lucas Upper Cylinder stuff with every fill-up.

Thanks

I never use honda genuine but whatever works for you, I run penn the green oil in all my motors but its pricy and more for race, same with royal purple but its good oil. If you believe in high mileage motor oil then i would run that, if you dont race then quaker state or valvoline has always done good for me. Just stay away from full synthetics if your car likes to use oil cause it will just use it faster and it costs more. Timing belt and water pump sounds like a good idea as these are the leading causes of engine failure and after 100k your running on borrowed time.

I personally use castrol conventional 5/30 and have never had an issue. Your Lucas regimen sounds good too.

Highly recommended: Spark plugs, fuel filter, timing belt & water pump. Air filter and cabin filters been changed recently too? NGK for the plugs, OEM for the timing belt & waterpump kit. Continental also makes very good timing belt kits.

Honda genuine oil is a bit overkill. Any 5w-30 is OK. Service intervals change w/ synthetic or conventional. 3000 for conventional & 5000 for synthetic. Purolator PureOne oil filters are the best.

Also, the Lucas in every tank of gas is a bit overkill too... I would only bother with that once every 2 or 3 months.
