Default 02 Si FD in an RSX-S?

The final drive in the new Si is 4.764 compared to 4.389 in my RSX-S. Is the Si FD swappable into my tranny, considering the Si is a 5sp and the RSX is a 6sp?

Thanks!

Good question . . .

The CR-V 5 speed also uses a FD that's somewhere close to 4.7 - might be the same as the Si. The engine/trannies are related closely enough for it to be a definite possibility. I haven't heard of anyone trying it yet, though.

I suppose one could compare part numbers between the models, see how many similarities there are.

I think if it does work, there would be more to swap than just the FD. Kinda like the JDM ITR final drive swap.

What else was needed for that changeover?
