Worth attempting to fix rusty coilover damping system
Hello, so I have these old tein SS coilovers on my EK civic that i bought a while ago for pretty cheap. They work pretty decent, don't bounce and don't feel blown. The issue is when I bought them 3/4 of the damping ***** were broken off. On one of the broken ones, the entire assembly is out and the damping rod is just there, so I can probably clean out the threads and drop in a new clicker assembly. on the other broken ones, the bottom allen key piece of the clicker assembly is stuck inside the shock and is very rusty inside lol. Is it worth trying to repair these? If so is there a good method of doing it because it seems pretty difficult and I couldn't find any info of other people doing this. sorry for the bad quality pic but you can see the issue. Also in the pic the threads look non existent but they're decent just rusty.
The reason I want to do this is I have no idea if the damping is set correctly (probably not), so its either try to fix these or buy new coilovers.
