Default Troubleshooting Spring Install

Hello all,

Recently I purchased a set of Skunk2 lowering springs for my 95 Del Sol si. From my research they worked well enough for daily driving, if a bit stiff and a bit aggressive of a drop for the stock struts. I intend to replace the struts in the near future. (price was right on springs, going to do struts over winter).

When I installed them I put the shorter ones up front and the longer ones in back, since that way they both seemed to be about two inches shorter than the springs they replaced. Weird thing is the rear seems to be about the same height and the front is drastically lowered, there is about a 3 or 4 inch difference between front and rear ride height. As opposed to the half inch or so indicated by my research.

I am thinking I put the rear springs up front, and the front springs in back. This is also hinted at by how much the front sagged compared to the rear.

I was just wondering if anyone who has had experience with skunk2 or similar springs could look at the images I took and my description and verify my thoughts? It would be nice to hear it from someone else before I tear my suspension apart for the second time in two days. If this is how the car is meant to ride I will just go back to stock.

Just seems weird, all the images I found of skunk2 springs on cars looked pretty level and now nearly as low in the front.

You put the springs in wrong. Swap sides.

Thank you, that's what I thought. Nice to have some confirmation though.
