Default Thoughts on KW V3?

Have Skunk 2 Pro S II, rough ride…

looking at the KW v3.

If anybody has any real world feedback I’d love to hear it!

The goal is a firm yet smooth ride, not jarring.

I currently have all the braces, some poly bushings, ASR rear brace w/ASR 23mm rear sway bar, stock Si front sway bar, sitting on 15x8 57dr rims with 205/50/15 tires.

I've had KW V3's on 5 different Civic's/Integra's that I have owned, by far the most comfortable yet firm coilover I have ever driven on.

Don't get caught up in spring rates, people complain the KW's are "soft" since they use a progressive spring, what you are paying for is the valveing inside the body. I currently have them installed in my 98 ITR with all hardrace bushings and the car drives beautifully, I have taken it to the track for some lapping days and zero issues. The only thing I would do is firm up the compression and rebound from the recommended settings in the manual (Only a couple clicks as each change is pretty noticeable)

Right now im waiting on a custom set of V3's with custom valveing and spring rates for my track civic, can't wait to try them out.

No problem, They do offer it but at a price, about double the price if not more. The v3's will be great for a street car that see's the odd track/lap day. My civic is a dedicated track car now, caged, aero etc

Agsin really appreciate your time in your response. I’ll probably pull the trigger on a set next year!
