tein basic VS. Koni/h&r 2Qs
i was wondering what is better for my ek. the tein basic dampers, or the H&R race springs/Koni reds combo. i dont have alot of money and i think that about $700 is my limit. i want something that has pretty good ride quality but lowers it more than 2in. its my DD so i dont need race worthy stuff.
my other question is this: how far should i lower it? i would prefer that my fenders sit within an inch of the top of the tire. but i dont know how many inches down that is. any recomendations? TIA

actually GC's are 335 shipped from weaksauce and you can pm performancecloseout for the yellows for 460 shipped (ek chassis)
total $795 if that puts it in your price range a little better

i picked up koni reds/eibach sportlines for 450 from shox.com. feels lower than a 1.9" drop. i scrape more than i thought with the sportlines. still rides smooth though. not bumpy at all. tien basics arent great. they have height adjustment, but thats it.
