spring Lb.?
Anyone know what ground control Eibach springs lb. ratings are? I want to get some but they dont say anything about the springs. Ive got a civic eg hb used for autocross and daily so what do you recommend for spring lb. My brother inlaw has 500 & 600lb. and suggested 400 and 500lb. for me since I use it daily. More or less? Let me know your thoughts on it.
A car specific Ground Control kit isn't going to come with 400lb/500lb springs. They come with something more like 320lb/280lb. I'm not certain on those rates, but I had the car specific kit years ago and the rear springs were especially soft. I have the same car as you, for similiar purposes, and I have 400lb/500lb springs and that's pretty common.

Check out the link near the bottom for the 92-00 Civic (Road Race) coilover kit. That's where you can specify what spring rates you want. It's a pretty good deal.

why is that so far fetched? skunk2 coilover and sleeves used to come with 400 and 500 lb rates. my bro runs GC with koni yellows on his ej6 and they came with REALLY stiff rates front AND back. i dont understand why you would have had soft rear springs in the first place.

Only GC kits with customer specified "custom" rates come with 400f/500r spring rates. If you get the "off the shelf" kit, the rates are much softer.
As for Eibach's lowering springs, they are progressive rates that are going to be MUCH softer than any adjustable-height coil-over spring set like ground-control. Not much stiffer than stock...
