Default Rear Disk Conversion On EG?

I have rear disk brakes off of a 94 del sol that I am putting on a 92 hatch. I know I need the ebrake cables off of 99-00 civic or 94+ integra. My question is do I need to use the proportional valve and master cylinder off the del sol or will it be alright not to change them.

i only added the rear disk to my cx hatch and didnt change th prop. valve or MC/BB and brakes awsome. if u plan on upgrading the front brakes than it is recommended or pedal feel is going to be sluggish.

at least replace your proportioning valve, the one you have now is made for rear drums wich uses different pressures than disc brakes.go to your local junk yard and get one off of any non abs civic or integra. i got mine for like 25 dollars

I upgraded my fronts to gsr's but left the rear drums. Do I need to prop valve?

No you don't. The 93-95 2 door EX Civics use the same exact prop valve as the other rear drum EGs, but they have larger 10.2" front brakes...

Uh, yeah...

The reason I say specifically the 93-95 Coupe, is because there was no coupe sold in 92...
