Quick question, where does this clip go?

#14 in the picture, it looks like a starwars space ship or something..
it came in a bag of new parts to use with my remanned calipers..
is it needed? if so how do i keep it in place on the caliper? i can't figure it out

Are you sure you didn't mean #13?
If not, #14 is for the ebrake cable.
#13 should sit inside the caliper between the caliper and the pads. It fits into the little "window" on the caliper.
