ok maybe stupid question but if i bought gc's that fit oem, tokico, kyb, etc.... is there any way that I would be able to switch to koni in the future or would i have to buy brand new gc's?

 

i'm pretty sure that you can get the koni adapter to fit over the c-clip, but I'm not too sure. If it is that easy, you get these aluminum adapters that fit into the bottom of the GC sleeve and the adapter has a little ridge cut out of the center to go over the clip and you'll have a "true coilover system!" MUAHAHAH!! ... uhhh, that is if it's that easy

 

I would contact Ground Control. They should be able to sell you the sleeves individually.

We sell a conversion kit for koni, new threaded sleeves, and new spring perches. everything else you have you reuse. The new sleeves and perches are specifically for koni.

 

Konis and others use different kits? Crap. How much is the kit for a 92-95 Civic?

 

no you would not have to..i bought my GC first and drop them on oem shocks..6 month later i bought some koni yellows and they fit just fine..just make sure u take off the brake line adapter and put them on the konis..

 

Well if what you say is true, you just saved me at least $50.
