Koni GC problem...
Where are the pictures we have been requesting?
My appoligies, you must have used a different e-mail for the order. Anyhow, blaze the chemi is correct, the sleeves I sent you should be sitting on top of the circlip of the koni. There should not be anything between the sleeve and the clip.
If you can, get those spring rates off the springs and we'll see what we can come up with.

The bumpstop just stops the shaft from slamming all the way into the shock when you hit a pothole, it can also be used as sort of a helper spring to control travel. What most people describe as "bottoming out" is actually the upper A arm hitting the frame on the shock mount area.
Bumpstops also have the side-effect of reducing available shock travel, as it's protecting the shock from completely compressing. That's one reason why some choose to cut them in half. I choose to ride without them, instead opting for extended top hats. Bumstops would be sort of counterproductive in my opinion.
If you're going to ride around with your wheel/fender gap at or around 1 finger, you'll need suitable spring rates. Nothing less than 400 lb/in will do, or you will clunk every once in a while on rough roads, potholes, train tracks, etc.
