Default Function Form Suspension?

I blew out my front shitty shocks and looking at getting a whole new setup. the omni power package on passwordjdm.com is on backorder for 3-4 weeks and JHPUSA.com has this Function Form package deal that comes with blox rear and front camber kit, blox rear lca, and function form 24-way adjustable coilovers. for 899.00. is this a good setup or is it going to be a waste of my money?

wow it comes with Blox LCA's and a full camber kit, i say order that right now. Im not a big fan of coilovers in general but for a deal like that i would even be willing to try it.

I was looking into getting this combo you're looking at, and made a post. Heard good things about the function forms, for 900 bucks and the rest of the stuff it comes with, go for it.

You're probably talking about the Skunk2's that have only preload adjustability, not even a seperate ride height adjustment. Those are lousy for that reason, the function forms give you more adjustability than you need. I say get more for your money and get the function forms, as i haven't heard anything bad about them.

Theres another thread about function form on here. I don't want to troll, but I seem to be the only one with a bad experience buying f2 and it was a terrible experience. Post a review when you get them.

Fycus, you did say you had bad customer service w/ AMR, not F2. AMR does sell custom spring rates which most likely you had went over before you purchased them. It does suck when you purchase something expensive for your car and doesnt fit to your needs. You were also warned that the ride would be harsh. So I do find it hard to believe as a complaint and it should just be an honest mistake on your half because the company did their job. I'm not trying to FLAME on you. Everyone makes mistakes when purchasing things for their cars. You were advised of the consequences with that type of setup. Now you have to look at it from the companies side also. As a company with good customer service they did what they can to help you. They tried to offer you different spring rates which might have helped, but you declined. Thats all they can do, you purchased the item and most companies will not take back used items even if its something you didnt want. It sucks you lost money, but those are the chances you take.

F2autolife which is where i had purchased the coilovers, has been nothing but golden when helping me choose my setup. I did order the Type 2's which is a updated version. I did choose to go with F2 because my friend has version 1's and those road pretty well on the street on full stiff and off the shelf spring rates on an EG. I will let you guys know how the setup is.

The ride was beyond stiff, I had numerous problems (none of which I want to spread around h-t, but if you want to know shoot me a pm), and they were nothing like similar priced coilovers I have driven on before.
