Default Function and Form Problems....

Well I have a set of Function and Form Type IIs for my 92 Civic hatch, installed them about a month ago. Car hasn't been driven at all. Went out in the garage and one of the rear coilovers, the strut rod with the rubber and the nut and adjustment on it is sticking up out of place about 4 inches. Like the strut isn't compressing. I never looked at it yet, just wondering if someone had the same problem and could give me a heads up.

Thanks,
Chris

on top of the strut, where the shaft slides in and out, do you have have completely blocked off? Air needs to escape if its going to compress.

There should be a type of washer, similar to the "bumpstop plate" on the OEM springs/shocks, on your shock piston rod. If this is not there, the shock rod will poke up through the upper mount.

What part do you mean do I have completly blocked off.... I never touched the coilovers, I just bolted them on. Was I supposed to transfer anything from my oem struts to these?

Huh? They're monotube hydraulic dampers . . .
