Default front and rear conversion?

i just got done with my front and rear conversion on my ek but i have some questinos that need to be answered. 1) is the ride supposed to be stiffer after the conversion because my ride feels a bit smoother and stiffer then usual. i am not sure because this is my first time doing a conversion for any car so i am not sure how it should feel.

another question is i used the GSR break lines for the caliper and it was to long so i zip tide it to the knuckle it that safe? let me take some pic and post it up later for you guys to see and tell me what u guys think.

Maybe there were better trailing arm bushings on the conversion which would account for a better, tightened ride. Tying the line to the knuckle is fine.
