CTR suspension question
On my 97 Civic Hatch I've got OEM CTR suspension, well the front of my car sits higher than the back and the back has a perfect stance that I'd like to keep as well .. I'm not too sure if the engine is too light which is why the front sits higher than the back or what but I'd like to kind of even it out .. Are there any places that sell just front springs or is there a remedy for this problem I'm having ? Pic of car below .

you have to be patient on the suspension forum, it doesn't move as fast as the other forums.
as for your question, the only thing i can think of is that the front springs are stiffer than the rear, which the itr and ctr do have stiffer spring rates. that is probably why the front is alittle higher than the rear.
lowering springs or coilovers can hepl that though.

Never posted in suspension so wouldn't know how fast it moves, thanks though .
Hmm I'd hate to just get lowering springs for the front, that'd sound rather .. Ghetto to me .

what engine do you have?
i dont know the weight differential between the ctr b16 and, if youre still on the stock motor, a d-series, but that might be a contributing factor.

Oh well, i guess I'll settle for an uneven car for now :-P
thanks .</TD></TR></TABLE>
It actually looks level to me.
The front fenders have a larger wheel opening, for turning.
I had to put nearly a 1" rake (measured from side jack points) on my Integra before the fender gap was even. Not that even was a goal, as I'm at about 1.5" rake now.
On a flat surface, measure ground to side jack points, and compare front to rear. You should probably do both sides, as the driver's front will be lower (its heavier).
But eh, is it really worth worrying about?
You could also just buy a set of Koni Yellows and put the circlip on the lowest groove in the front, or the highest groove in the rear..

depending on what front shocks you have (Don't know about the CTR ones), you can drop the shock lower into the fork, effectively lowering the spring perch.
I had CTR suspension on my Si and i had a B18c5 in it and it still seemed that it sat high to me in the front...I think thats just the way that it is supposed to be.
Goodluck though.
