Coilover compatibility

Default Coilover compatibility

Hey I was wondering if any one had knowledge about compatability between suspension on sub models like will ek coilover fit ex of the same year

Yes, eg, dc, and ek are normally very interchange able. Basically all 92-00 civics and 94-01 integra’s. Aftermarket stuff is especially interchangeable. But yes, if you had a 99-00 Si for example and wanted to put coil overs on a base model, it would work.

Thanks I figured it out. I guess the ej models are the coups I broke the bolt that holds the back strut on. Was going to try and put lowering springs. But forgot what a pain they can be to dismantle. So I just bought a mediocre set of coil overs and was having trubble figuring out what was compatible. I appreciate your response

Coillovers are interchangeable for Civics 88-00. For the 96-00 models, the rear LCA are thinner at the 2nd mounting bushing/mounting hole. That is why many reputable coilover companies will supply spacers to accommodate for the gap.
