5 lug conversion using 4 lug spindles front and rear
thats what i was thinking, but doesn't that washer thrust against the bearing? maybe I'm wrong here, it is a flat washer, but that looks like a bit of a safety concern to me...
I'm glad that this topic has come back to life though.

THE MAZDA NUT THRUST AGAINST THE BEARING JUST LIKE THE WASHER. TRUST ME IT WORKS. I AUTOCROSS ATLEAST ONCE A MONTH AND PUSH THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF MY CAR. IVE TAKEN IT TO SPEED GOVERNER MANY TIMES AND THERE IS NO VIBRATION OR SHIMMY ON THE DRIVE. ALSO SO THAT EVERYONE CAN GET A CRACK AT IT, MY CIVIC IS A 94 EX PURPLE COUPE SINGLE CAM, WITH GUNMETAL TYPE R WHEELS. IM IN THE WORKS OF BUILDING MY MOTOR.
I BELEIVE IN STOPPING FIRST BEFORE GOING FAST. THATS WHY I DID MY SWAP. IT TOOK ME 2 MONTHS TO FIGURE OUT THANKS TO SOME HELPFUL POST HERE IN HONDA-TECH

awesome man. I have the same attitude about tuning... i had the old milled bracket itr caliper and redrilled lude rotor setup back in 98, waayyy beforei even had so much as an intake on my car. But then i am a mechanical engineering student studying for the sole purpose of chassis design
...I'm gonna be gettin on this as soon as i have the money to get some 5-lug works for my car

I SPENT IN TOTAL 400 IN HUBS, 60 AT THE U-PULL IT FOR THE FRONT AND REAR CALIPERS AND ROTORS, 450 FOR TYPE R WHEELS
outta curiosity, where did you find all four hubs for 400? Obviously not brand new oem... Parts store?

Nissin 9CLP14S calipers can be found on several cars other then ITR/CTR, including RSX, EP3, and some '92+ Preludes.

Man I hate to kinda steal your post, but since you figured this out do you think that I could possibly do the same with prelude hubs. I mean it's the same bolt pattern, and I'm sure it woouldn't be too different as the parts needed for this. You guys got any info on this because I got the complete hubs from my friend. I've been searching on here and various other sites for some time now and can't seem to find a definate answer. Thanks in advance.
Thought I'd throw in some ITR compatible rotors here. My experience is that either the guy at the counter (of a parts store) ignores the "Type R" thinking it makes no difference or the computer doesn't list rotors for the ITR. I figure to save them and yourself some headaches, here are some alternative names you can use.
This info, thanks to Brembo's site:
Brembo Europe part #s:
OEM: 45251-SPO-000 or 45215-S2H-N00
09.6893.10 - Acura 97-01 ITR (Front) Diameter 282.0mm, thickness 23.0mm, min thickness 21.0mm, height 47.1mm, hole 70.2mm, 5 lug
09.6893.10 - Honda 97-01 CR-V(Front) Diameter 282.0mm, thickness 23.0mm, min thickness 21.0mm, height 47.1mm, hole 70.2mm, 5 lug
09.6893.10 - Honda 97-01 Prelude (Front) Diameter 282.0mm, thickness 23.0mm, min thickness 21.0mm, height 47.1mm, hole 70.2mm, 5 lug
Could not find any European part #s for rear rotors for above applications.
Brembo North American part #s:
25464 - Acura 97-01 ITR (Front) Diameter 282.0mm, thickness 23.0mm, min thickness 21.0mm, height 47.1mm

25550 - Acura 02-06 RSX (Rear) Diameter 259.7mm, thickness 9.0mm, min thickness 8.0mm, height 48.3mm
25550 - Acura 97-01 ITR (Rear) Diameter 259.7mm, thickness 9.0mm, min thickness 8.0mm, height 48.3mm
Close in size but I wouln't recommend it just because of the differences.
25686 - Honda 97-01 Prelude (Rear) Diameter 259.7mm, thickness 9.0mm, min thickness 8.0mm, height 42.2mm

YOU CAN USE 97-01 PRELUDE FRONT HUBS ONLY. FOR THE REARS HUB, NOTHING CAN BE USED AS THEY ARE DIFFERENT FROM ALL OTHER MODEL HONDAS AND ACURA.
Yeah, I mentioned the difference in height for the Prelude rear rotors. The disc will not be sitting in the same spot.
This info was just so people can see the Prelude rear rotors were different from the ITR/RSX rear rotors.

Alright guys, here it comes: my parts list (for those of us that dont work at a honda parts counter
)
For the rear:
hubs. $165/pr. http://www.stopshopanddrive.com/
rsx calipers $83.09 ea. http://www.car-stuff.com/store...67104
rotors. $46.16 ea. http://www.nopionline.com/nopi...tegra
axle nuts. $7.99 ea. http://www.car-stuff.com/store...67066
For the front:
hubs. $45.60 ea. http://www.car-stuff.com/store...66739 (not sure if this actually includes the hub, seems a little cheap to include hubs and bearings, need to make a phone call)
calipers $58.21 http://www.car-stuff.com/store...66717
(I'm looking at caliper brackets only, since I already have a 11.1" front setup... http://www.car-stuff.com/store...66668)
rotors $40.11 ea. http://www.nopionline.com/nopi...tegra
Your choice of brake lines, I'm using these: http://www.nopionline.com/nopi...tegra
Your choice of pads, I'm using these: http://www.tirerack.com/brakes...+pads
your choice of wheels. I'm prolly gonna swing for some 16" Works, but used ITR/CTR wheels can be had for ~ $450 a set.
Total, minus wheels, pads and lines, is $667.46. Some of thes parts require core charges, but some of these parts also have free shipping
I"m also thinking that I might go with prelude hubs and custom gator axles with 36mm outer joints (since I seem to break axles on every rare trip I make to the drag strip) like the jdm type-r just to bulletproof my junk. But that can come down the road.
And this is all with brand new or reman, name brand and from reputable dealer parts!! Whoa buddy!!
Get at it kids, I think this is a big breakthrough.

This only works if you already have rear discs, so tack on another $100-150 or so if you need that swap too.
MiamiEgGSr, it might be easier for you to simply buy Integra Type R trailing arm assemblies. It CAN be pretty cheap if you buy used. I bought my USDM ITR 5-lug conversion (front and back), steering rack and sway bars for $800. I'm probably tossing my fronts or moving it to another car because I want CR-V front knuckles which take a beefier OEM axle.
I personally think it'd be a waste of effort to source regular trailing arms, do this conversion then go buy front knuckles and do the 5 lug swap on that too. If you're sticking with the factory 32mm spline axles, just look for a USDM ITR 5 lug conversion.

I'd check the local auto recyclers. There are two big auto recyclers dealing in imported vehicle parts around here. Some don't know the true value of the ITR parts (or CR-V front knuckles). Check http://www.car-part.com. That's what I did.
