I have kind of a Frankenstein's project at hands, my car is a 1991 EF Sedan.
I've swapped the brake system (front and rear) with a full disk EG/EK setup. To do so I had to swap front spindles and rear trailing arms to accommodate the brake setup. Problem is that with the new front spindles the car was sitting with a near to 3 degree positive camber on the front, without room for adjustment. So I bought a EF Hardrace camber kit to solve the camber problem.
Now, with the kit the camber is correct, but when driving through some deeper holes the Hardrace UCA are hitting the shock tower (marked the spot on the picture).
My suspension setup is Koni Yellows all around with H&R sport springs (Koni kit reference: 1140-8631) and I'm running it on the lower height adjustment on the shocks.
Thing is, I don't think the car is that low to be having this problem (picture with the current stance)
Any advice beside raising the car or cutting holes on the strut tower that could fix the problem? Is this some kind of incompatibility with EF/EG stuff?
I'm not running bump stops on the Konis because they were sold out and on back order, so I had to assemble the suspension without them. Would it help smooth out the impacts? I've stock Honda bump stoppers arriving next month but I'm a bit skeptical about it smoothing out/solving the problem.
