If this event is by invitation only, what is the purpose of this thread?

 

Many people have messaged me in response to locking this thread. This is a public forum. This is not a private members only forum. All of the events and meets posted in these forums have always been public. If you want to have an "invite only" private party, this public forum is not the place for this.

I'm not saying that you can't have the bbq, I hope everyone has a good time. It's that this place has rules and guidelines, and we have to adhere to them.
